I have noticed a lot of women have requested to be took off the list.
My biggest fear, about having a double mastectomy, is my fiance leaving me. I mean eventhough he said he wouldnt, I mean come on I will feel like a man. LOL. I know that once I have them removed its the only way that my insurance will pay for a breast recontruction. HOWEVER here they concider a double mastectomy a outpaitent surgury. I have a 7 week old infant and a 2 year old. I dont think I could physically deal with that with out some recoperation time.
I am not sure which they tested me for in the genes. I do know they ran several tests but they called me saying good news! Your pap smear came back normal as did your blood platelets and iron, but however we have some bad news we got the results back on the gene test and it came back postive. (by that time I got dizzy and had to
sit
down. I could only picture skull bones) I know breast cancer isnt an imediate death sentance but in a since, to me it is. MY grandma died after battleing several types of cancer that hit her one after another. My Aunt my grandmas sister died of breast cancer that they caught to late and it spread way to far when they opened her up she was ate with cancer. My aunt Riva now is currently battleing it she has no hair now. I am terrified.
What exactly are those mediations that was mentioned? Exactly how much does those medications cost? I am 21 my 22nd birthday is comming up here in 23 days. I am ingaged and currently planning my wedding. I have two beautiful kids, and They are my life, as is my fiance. I want to take action now before its to late.
They wont let me do a mamogram now until I stop breastfeeding my daughter. I am not sure whats more important. Breastfeeding her or purposely quiting and giving her fo
rmula
just so I dont wait a year and get a mamogram.
I have meridia that IUD for birth control does that increase my risks of cancer?
Changing subjects LOL.
Any tips on how to make after birth bowlmovements easier? My daughter after she was born I have a fisical tear, and makes passing them severely painful and I bleed. Diarea even hurts lol.
Also my son hates his little sister and keeps trying to kill her any ideas how to make him love her?

Hi, Mandie
I'm glad you mentioned the virus thing because I wondered if I was the only one getting it. I haven't kept count and my Yahoo mail doesn't allow me to
open the
infected file, so I feel safe enough with that. I'm not sure where it is originating.
I am no expert on breast cancer, but I have had it and had one breast removed almost 10 years ago. If I had know everything back then that I do now, I would have insisted that the doctor remove both breasts. I have not had a recurrence but have had to have additional biopsies on the remaining breast and was told that I would continue to have to have that done. So I figure they will simply whittle away on the remaining breast until it is gone, too. I did have reconstructive surgery on the "removed" breast and am quite lop-sided and have to wear a silicone "shell" to make them match. So I would have preferred to have both off and to have rceived 2 matching ones.
I had no history of breast cancer in my family, and that is the case with a lot of women. Wit
h your
family history, I would say that your chances are quite strong that you will develop it; and for me that would be enough to insist on a prophylactic mastectomy. By getting rid of as much the breast tissue, you will reduce your chances (I would think) of developing breast cancer. Certainly a doctor can confirm or deny that, but be sure to get a couple of opinions from different doctors. I was fortunate in that my breast cancer was caught very early (what the doctor found was not even what he actually went in looking for -- that area was negative -- but he kept looking until he found a malignancy). Because it was caught so early I did not even have to have chemo or radiation, but I have had a lot of friends who were not so lucky.
For your own peace of mind, get it all checked out and then follow your heart on what to do. You sound like a very young person; I was already almost 50 when mine was found.&

Believe me: breasts do not make the woman and life is more inmportant.
Good luck to you.

Ok, first off I would like to state, that I have recieved the begle virus from this fourm 5 times now. I do not like that track record. 3 times actually from one person. That virus is cruel and please if anyone can help it stop sending it to me. I actually enjoy this fourm, but I dont enjoy t he viruses.
Secondly. I posted before about High Blood Platelets during pregnantcy. I am pleased to annouce after induction at 800,000 platelet level my platelets have went down. I aparently had the issue due to an abessed tooth that kept getting worse. Af
ter
rounds of anti biotics my platelet levlels have went down.
My current issue, is the fact I tested postive for the gene that causes breast cancer. IT almost sounds like a death sentance, and I am half a notion to chop my breasts off to prevent it from happening. My grandma got it at 21, my mom at 23 and my sister at 22 this doesnt look good for me.
Hope everyone else is going well
