Re: [Wellness] Tamoxifan and Sleep Apnea

Apnea
Ruth, there is a good chance it is hormonal. The Tamoxifen
suppressed estrogen and now without it, your body is again adjusting
to its new hormonal state...I still get some hot flashes now on
Femara.

I have an unusual problem and I am
wondering if anyone out there has experienced what I am. I was
on Tamoxifan for my 5 year stint. I also took Bellamine for hot
flashes (which, incidentally worked wonderfully for me.)
I went off Tamoxifan and Bellamine in
late January. Since that time I have had a terrible time
sleeping. I feel like I did when I went through Menopause where
I have a hard time going to sleep and I wake up evey half hour or so.
I am becoming sleep deprived and I cannot help but wonder if there is
some corrolation between giving up the medicines and sleep
deprivation.
My physician has put me on an herbal
supplement for sleep at night and that often helps. However, I
wonder if there is a hormonal correlation.
Has anybody had any experiences along
these lines? Thanks so much
