I know it is very hard to read all this information.  Your mind is probably dazed.  Try to take it in small pieces or have someone read it and discuss it with you.  Always try to bring somone along on your appointments to take notes for you.  We get absolutely overwhelmed with information at a time when our brain tries to shut down. I also think it would be appropriate to include your radiation oncologist in your treatment plan to see if radiation may be a viable treatment at this time.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do for or any other research you need. Take some time to breathe and relax.  Spread wonderful lotion on your body for relief.  Find a way each day to do something special for you.  Everything will work out just fine.  You have all of us supporting you.

I was just diagnosed with recurrence breast cancer.  However, it is not in the breast but in the lymph nodes in my neck.  The treatment for recurrence breast cancer is Taxol.  I have also consented to participate in a random drug trial called Avastin.  Does anyone have any information on this protocol?  I’m to start treatments mid-April and will not know until treatments whether I would be selected to participate in the Avastin trial.  Any information would be helpful.
