[Wellness] Arimidex

Kate wrote:
Hi,
I have been advised by my trusted doctor to switch from Tamoxifen (which
I've been on for about 1 year) to Arimedex. He also told me there's a lot
less research on Arimedex and explained that the drug actually stops your
body from producing estrogen. I don't like Tamoxifen particularly (I've
experienced bone pain, especially), but I'd like to know more about
Arimedex. I'm also concerned because vaginal dryness and rawness has been a
real problem for me, and my doctor said I wouldn't be able to use any kind
of estrogen cream to help with this if I switch to Arimedex.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks - Kate

Kate, here are some links I found with information

Hope these help. If not let me know and I'll search some more.
Karen
