Karen's High Dose Chemo Diary
High Dose Chemotherapy is a very intensive attack on Cancer. We chose to have the process done a Duke University in hopes of stopping Karen's Breast Cancer. Duke has had some wonderful success and thanks to the efforts of Dr. Chao, Dr. Vredenburg and the entire staff at Duke, the patient's experience is positive, one of hope and in a very caring environment.
Each day of the entire process was documented as an e-mail from us to our discussion group. Because it touched so many people and so many others might be helped by Karen's experiences, we have organized it here for easy access. We hope this helps you, your family and everyone affected through this process.
