Hi,
Well, today was probably the lowest day for Karen, I did not realize she had her heart set on going home today. The problem was the nurses all week have been telling her she would be gone by Friday, and the let down hurt her bad. They told her not to get depressed because that will use up platelets, they said to walk but do not get tired. So when we left the clinic we went shopping and out for a pleasant lunch. But none of that could possibly replace her family. Her platelet count was twenty today, yesterday it was twenty-eight, the drop has not been as bad as on other days. That was a good sign, I'm just hoping that her platelets will hold for her sake tomorrow. Health wise she had a very good day. Harry she will get over this bump as she has gotten over many in the last couple years. She will be heading south shortly, will write tomorrow.
Lynn
